The Switch Treasure Hunt

Either you, or you and your team, are out to dig up from the Internet thorough and compelling answers to the attached questions. We’ll discuss your answers in-class on Thursday. The individual or team who submit the most thorough and complete set of answers first will pick up a fancy chocolate bar, flavor of their choosing.

Note that it is possible to find the questions themselves online, and therefore some short, not-very-compelling answers. You can do better, because you’re generally awesome.

Submission

Upload your completed submission to Moodle. Always remember to include your name and teammate names when submitting one file for multiple people.

Why?

Instead of giving you a reading and a quiz, I’m asking you to do some research and investigation yourself. This is a more typical way that we learn things outside of the classroom: we have a question or a problem, and we do our best to research good answers so we can answer the question. The trick is learning to recognize what is good information, and what is not-so-good information.

That’s part of the exercise.
